UNGCC has around 43,700 peacekeepers, staff, and technical development personnel coming from 37 contributing countries.
The Mission maintains an intensive level of operational and other activities amounting to approximately 67,000 activities per month, day and night, in the global maritime area of operations.
19% percent of activities are carried out jointly with the Japanese Armed Forces. 7% are carried out jointly with the United States Armed Forces. UNGCC is complemented by a 117-vessel Maritime Task Force.
